Restructuring – Building a Stronger Federation
The Liberal Party believes that restructuring is essential to unlocking Nigeria’s full potential. It is not about dividing the country; it is about redesigning our institutions and governance systems to make them more efficient, accountable, and responsive to the needs of the people.
Restructuring is the deliberate redesign of the Nigerian state to enable it to function efficiently, fairly, and productively.
Restructuring is not an attempt to weaken Nigeria; rather, it is a strategy to strengthen the federation. It seeks to create a system where every component of the nation performs at its highest capacity, promoting peace, justice, economic prosperity, and good governance.
Our vision of restructuring is founded on cooperation, not division. It is not a call for secession, occupation, annexation, or the dismantling of the country. Instead, it is built on the principle that every part of Nigeria should support the progress of the other. As the Scripture teaches, no one should rest until his brother has also secured his inheritance. Restructuring therefore represents unity in diversity, shared responsibility, and collective prosperity.
We envision a federation where powers, responsibilities, and resources are fairly distributed to enable every region to maximize its comparative advantages while contributing meaningfully to national progress.

Restoration – Restoring Peace, Security and Good Governance
Without peace, there can be no development.
The Liberal Party will restore the authority of the Nigerian State by strengthening national security, enforcing the rule of law, and rebuilding public confidence in government.
We shall:
Modernize and professionalize the Armed Forces and security agencies.
Eliminate terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, piracy, and violent criminality.
Protect every Nigerian irrespective of ethnicity, religion, gender, or political affiliation.
Reform the justice system to ensure timely and impartial justice.
Fight corruption through transparent institutions and strict accountability.
Restore discipline, integrity, and professionalism throughout the public service.
Our objective is simple: every Nigerian must feel safe at home, at work, and on every road across the country.
Reindustrialisation – Transforming Nigeria into Africa’s Manufacturing Powerhouse
Nigeria possesses enormous human and natural resources. Yet our economy remains overly dependent on crude oil exports.
The Liberal Party will transform Nigeria into one of Africa’s leading industrial and manufacturing economies by promoting value addition, innovation, and private-sector investment.
Our government shall:
Establish Industrial Parks and Special Manufacturing Zones across all regions.
Guarantee reliable electricity supply to industrial clusters.
Develop modern transportation and logistics infrastructure.
Encourage local manufacturing and import substitution.
Provide tax incentives for strategic industries.
Support small and medium-sized enterprises with affordable financing.
Expand technical education and vocational skills development.
Promote technology, research, and industrial innovation.
Increase exports of manufactured goods while reducing dependence on imported products.
Industrialisation will create millions of sustainable jobs, reduce poverty, strengthen the naira, and position Nigeria as a globally competitive economy.
Reconstruction – Building the Infrastructure for National Prosperity
Modern infrastructure is the foundation of economic growth and improved quality of life.
The Liberal Party shall embark on an ambitious National Reconstruction Programme aimed at closing Nigeria’s infrastructure deficit and preparing the nation for the demands of the twenty-first century.
Our priorities include:
- Affordable mass housing.
- Modern road networks linking every part of Nigeria.
- Expansion and modernization of the national railway system.
- Upgraded airports and inland waterways.
- Reliable electricity generation and nationwide power distribution.
